The Fairmont Singapore has created the world’s first aquaponic farm within the hotel, which will see the hotel supplying its 10 restaurants with fish as well as vegetables into the future.

It is all part of Singapore’s 30/30 sustainability vision where the government plans to have a minimum of 30% of the country’s food including fruit, vegetables and agriculture coming from within the country rather than imported.
