Qantas has launched an emotionally charged tear jerker promotional ad to entice Australians to get vaccinated.

The ad is in the genre of Qantas’ previous advertisements showing Australians re-uniting with loved ones and the emotional pain of not being able to fly.

Set to the Tones and I song Fly Away, the spot is part of the airline’s ‘Be Rewarded’ campaign, which offers discounts and incentives to vaccinated customers. If you’re a Qantas Frequent Flyer who has been fully vaccinated for COVID-19, Qantas are offering a choice of reward, either 15 status points, 1000 frequent flyer points or $20 off a Qantas or Jetstar flight and the chance to win a major prize.

It fast forwards to the future when we are travelling again and Qantas staff are welcoming travellers on board.

The ad captures the emotions Australians feel who have missed so many moments with loved ones overseas over the past 18 months.
