MAC Launches World First Beauty App in Sydney

Pinterest LinkedIn

MAC recently launched a world-first app to help master various make-up techniques, which can be taken to a technique class to learn the tricks of the trade.

I have always loved MAC cosmetics. They make some of the best red lipstick on the planet.

Even if you think you know how to apply the best smokey eye (please call me immediately if you do), there are still so many tricks to learn from the pros, and with this new concept, MAC’s professional artists are there for you to access.

MAC have come up with such an innovate but simple way to bring those experts to the masses.

Technique classes will be held at MAC outlets all over Australia – and anyone can book in using the app. (A minimal charge of $120 applies, which is redeemable on product.)

At the technique class of your choosing, you can learn anything from a natural make-up look to a smokey eye, and as the class is happening you can mark the product you like with your own app and buy the after the class or keep the list until you want the product at a later date.

The app (MAC technique) includes face charts, notes, tips and tricks, so you can open it at home long after you’ve forgotten the class and remind yourself of those insider tips which worked so well.

This is a revolution for so many women, many of whom are my friends, who don’t know how to apply make-up, are time poor or want to keep ahead of trends.

I can’t think of a better way to spend time with a girlfriend on a Saturday afternoon before going out. Fun, educational, and you leave looking beautiful. What’s not to love?
