How to Get Younger Looking Skin in Seconds

My beauty hacks on how to achieve younger looking skin in under a minute.

If your skin is anything like mine right now, it is dry, cracked and doesn’t look or feel good. But I have found a way to get younger looking skin in seconds.

There is nothing more ageing for the skin  on both the face and body than dryness, and at this time of year in the southern hemisphere when we have had months of cold days and nights, our skin is suffering.

These are the products I am using right now to boost moisture, reduce fine lines and plump my skin and my mood, up.

And one of my secrets is a bit of quality self tan. It is also an easy and quick way to give yourself some glow and prepare for the sun which has to be coming any day now.

The Mask: Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask RRP$40.49

I love using the Antipodes Aura Manuka honey face masker for younger, smoother looking skin.

This is one of Antipodes highest selling products in the UK. I am loving the Aura Manuka Honey Mask. It glides onto the skin and needs to absorb on the face for about 15 minutes. The result is plumped up smooth skin that feels and looks beautiful. The best time to smooth it on is before bed, but I use it any time my skin needs a boost which is often in the mornings, much to my children’s horror when I am making porridge with a mask on my face.

For the Body: Thursday Plantation Ultra Hydrating Body Oil RRP:$13.95

I use the Thursday Plantation Ultra Hydrating Body Oil for younger, smoother looking skin at a great price.

The skin on the body is dry and scaly, after all of the heating and cold weather. Body oil is an easy way to pump moisture straight back into the skin instantly, and it feels great on the skin.

Thursday Plantation’s Macadamia ultra hydrating daily body oil is in a pump, and despite being an oil is not overly oily. The skin absorbs it fast. And what a bargain!

A great product to use before bed.

To Feel Sensual: Oud Save The Queen fragrance by Atkinsons RRP: $244.00

I love British brand Atkinson’s Oud Save The Queen for it mystical, strong fragrance.

I love a rich, warm sensual fragrance at this time of year, and  British Brand Atkinsons Oud Save The Queen is my current go-to. With hints of Earl Grey, Jasmine Petal, Bergamot and Orange Blossom, it takes me right back to London’s cold winters, open fires, fabulous fashion and rich red wines.

Face Cream: Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream by Youth To The People RRP: $87.00

I use natural beauty brand Youth To The People’s Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream.

It’s a very long name for a very simple face cream that works by deeply hydrating and calming the skin.

This all natural moisturiser from youth to the people is made from all natural ingredients, but glides on and really replenishes my skin. The key for me is it does not add oil.

Serum: Jurlique Nutri-Define Superior Retexturising Facial Serum RRP:$120.00

I use natural beauty brand Jurlique, from South Australia, where I grew up. Nutri define retexturing facial serum is Renae’s go-to for dry skin

Jurlique’s products are all made from plants on a huge farm in South Australia. With the serum, you can actually smell the naturalness when you pump it out.

This product is gorgeous before I put on my moisturiser and especially at night. There is no oily residue, but it definitely helps with fine lines, rehydration and rough skin.

To Look Fabulous: Self Tan St Tropez Self Tan Classic Watermelon Infusion Mousse RRP:$57.04

I use the St Tropez self tan mousse for a body image boost. This is the new watermelon-infused self tan which has a strong, but natural colour

Lets face it, there is no quicker way to give yourself an overall body image boost than with self-tan. St Tropez is bringing summer to our shores instantly this season with the release of Watermelon infusion. This bronzing mousse smells like summer, as it is infused with the sweet scent of watermelon.

The colour is natural, it is a bronzing mousse so super easy to apply and works fast. Game changer.
