Harrods newly renovated glossy beauty floor has to be the hottest place in the world right now to shop for beauty products. But wait, there’s more.
Hot on the heels of Sephora and Mecca, Harrods is opening their own stand alone beauty stores.
At this stage they will be in the UK only, but it will be no surprise if other stores open globally in the near future.
To be simply called H beauty, two stores will open next year in the UK’s Essex, then in Buckinghamshire.
They will not only sell premium brand beauty products, but will offer services including blow dries, nails and general beauty treats.
The fabulous coffee to cocktail concept Harrods has always executed so well will be a part of H beauty.
Never really emulated in Australia, Harrods have their own glamorous coffee bars, as well as champagne and cocktail bars sprinkled throughout the Knightsbridge flagship store as an incentive for shoppers to relax in luxury – and stay in the store.
Harrods opened a spectacular shiny new beauty floor over 8400 square metres in size in June this year in addition to a skin emporium of the same size.
Both are a wonderland for beauty lovers, full of instagrammable spots and products, and it is one of the largest locations globally to shop for beauty products.
The floors are bursting with beautiful designer beauty brands, all sitting amongst marble, towering ceilings and lashings of gold. There are no cheap display cabinets here or flashing brand names.
This is contemporary, chic and slick.
There’s a clean beauty space for non-toxic, botanic and organic brands, and there’s a dramatic grand staircase in true Harrod’s style with a chandelier leading to treatment rooms. True modern day glamour.
The beauty spaces are spacious, modern, and feel more like a five star hotel than a retail store.
Can’t wait to visit H beauty next year.
