Grab Another Year Of Qantas Frequent Flyer Status With Just One Flight.

Qantas has announced a bonus for frequent flyers worried about losing their frequent flyer status in the midst of the pandemic and an extreme international border lockdown here in Australia.

Australians have been unable to leave the country for some 18 months, and everyone’s Frequent Flyer Status is teetering on falling off the cliff.

It’s been just about impossible to earn any status credits on Qantas with the international borders closed, and state borders continually opening and closing.

Qantas Frequent Flyers have a way to maintain their status.

Everyone’s Qantas Frequent Flyer status is set to expire between now and June 2022, so Qantas have announced that all Frequent Flyers have to do is book an eligible flight before their membership ends and they will extend it.

In other words just one qantas flight booked before your points expire is the solution to retaining access to international lounges, excess baggage allowances and priority bookings and service.

The extension will be for 12 months and applies to both Australian and New Zealand residents.

Once the offer is activated, Qantas Frequent Flyer will  roll over any new eligible Status Credits members earned this year into their new membership year.

Tier status is something members have built up over many years, and it seems Qantas is recognising its most loyal members. So get booking now.
