Four fragrances I am loving this winter

Pinterest LinkedIn

I am a big fan of finding a signature fragrance, that one fragrance you wear every day, that makes you feel like you. But finding it can be the challenge.

A change of season is always a good time to try something new. This is what I am loving right now:

Diptyque Paris
34 Boulevard St Germain.
This is the crew responsible for some the most beautiful candles in the world, as well as matching room fragrances. They made the obvious move into personal fragrance a while ago, but the 34 Boulevard St Germain is my favourite. Named after the address of the store, I cycled to the store last time I was in Paris, and discovered it, and knew it was me. Tuberose, violet and Iris blended with roses makes this a warm, rich and lasting fragrance I adore.

AERIN, Amber Musk
I love everything auto this brand from the website to the packaging to the fragrances – it is classy, elegant, and feminine. Even the boxes the fragrances are packed in are stunning. Amber Musk is my current favourite, and is rich in florals, amber and musk, and perfect for this time of year b day or night. I agree with Aerin’s description of it as a soft cozy blanket on a cold snowy night. It is warm, and inviting. Sensual and sexy.

Michael Kors, Signature eau de parfum
There’s something about this fragrance that keeps pulling me back, as I suspect it is the Tuberose. Michelle Kors have released a truck load of alternative new fragrances promising the world but this one is still my favourite. It is glamorous, classy, and elegant. Spice, incense, blue orris and peony make this an international fragrance I always receive comments on.

Coco Chanel
My late mother-in-law introduced me to this fragrance and I always thought it was too old for me, but I guess I am older now, and I now love it, especially in cooler weather. From the classic signature bottle to the elegant rich, oriental notes, it always makes me feel warm, elegant and a little bit French.
