In Paris you’re considered over the hill at 45

Age is the focus of a funky new French cruise holiday package, aimed at people over45.

At least that’s the message from a French cruise company launching funky new cruises down the Seine this week specifically aimed at millennials.

Gone are the days when cruises were for retirees looking for peace & quiet, they are going upmarket – and are only for the fun crowd.

The cruises are targeting millennials who want adventure filled, busy holidays with plenty of partying.

The cruises from Paris to Rouen will include rock climbing and rafting excursions, cocktail and painting classes and yoga sessions as well as DJ sets at two separate bars on board.

“One of the trends we’ve found is millennials don’t want to drop & flop,” claims Kathryn Beadle, managing director of Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection.

But you are only allowed on board if you’re aged from 21-45.

And the cruises come with a hefty price tag, just over $3000 Aussie dollars for a week per person. All meals are included, but will millennials fork out this much for a boat cruise?I doubt it.
