The Dorchester Collection’s Hotel Eden will be the most luxurious and opulent hotel in Rome when it re-opens next year.
I have another excuse to go back to Rome next year, and so do you. The prestigious Dorchester Group are doing a multi million Euro overhaul on Rome’s Hotel Eden and it promises to be as lavish and opulent, as it is surprising and palatial. It will be the group’s 10th property.
Rome-inspired interiors promise absolute upscale luxury, with glints of gold throughout, but there will be plenty of comfort as well. There will be a hidden library bar at The Eden (maybe George and Amal will hang out there so they can’t be seen) as well as a gorgeous all day top floor Brasserie.
Parisian designer and architect Patrick Jouin and Sanit Manku are working on the magnificent project alongside Bruno Moinard. His credentials on his expansive resume include architect, scenographer, designer, draftsman and painter. Moinard re-designed some of the stunning new public spaces in the Hotel Plaza Athénéé in Paris, as well as The Grill at The Dorchester, London in 2014.
At Hotel Eden, the luxurious refurbishment is using the creativity of the world’s best, putting them together to create a unified vision for the stately property. Moinard has decorated the imposing lobby, as well as the luxury suites and rooms. Jouin and Manku are restoring the plush restaurants and bar on the sixth floor.
A lavish state of the art spa will feature gorgeous personalised massage and wellness treatments by Hollywood skincare guru Sonya Dakar and Italian beauty and spa expert Santa Maria Novella. The spectacular salon will include a blow dry bar and OPI manicures and pedicures.
Hotel Eden re-opens in April 2017, just in time for Europe’s summer. The 121 rooms are being converted to 98 rooms, whilst there will be 39 opulent suites. A spectacular rooftop bar and restaurant will overlook one of the world’s greatest and most majestic cities. I cannot wait.
