The most common quote I hear about Singapore is ” it is so vanilla” – but Artyzen Singapore, you absolutely rescued me. This hotel is anything but vanilla.
The daring and creative use of colour, the striking modern but classic design, the out-of-this-world cuisine at Quenino by Victor Liong, and the humble, funny and warm General Manager Jeff Crowe (link to podcast below) make this a first class five star Singapore stay on every level.
The roof top pool is nothing short of spectacular surrounded by greenery and stylish orange day beds, with far reaching views over the city and even a glass bottom to see right down to the ground below – this is one of the real treats to be feasted on during a stay at Artyzen Singapore.

Stepping into Artyzen Singapore, I was immediately embraced by a fusion of heritage charm and modern elegance – and the hotel’s unique lime-ish fragrance which for me was absolutely the same as my favourite spicy margaritas. This set the scene for an elegant, fun filled and innovative stay.
Artyzen’s grand entrance, adorned with artworks by local artists, sets the stage for a stay that intertwines colourful Asiatique cultural richness with contemporary, modern luxury.
From the seamless check-in process at the heritage-style reception to the friendly staff who go above and beyond, first impressions here are impeccable.

I stayed in a deluxe balcony king room which was a magnificent way to enjoy Singapore, Rooms at Artyzen are a true sanctuary of comfort and style.
Towering three metre ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning cityscape views from the private balcony and flood the room with natural light. The interiors feature wooden floors, plush patterned floor rugs, and a colourful mix of green, black marble, gold and red.
The full sized study desk is well sized for a laptop, and a neat and super handy box of office accessories including a highlighter and sticky notes sits on the desk.
The room boasts a plush king-size bed, heavy weighted automated curtains, and an array of high-end tech amenities, including a 55-inch flat-screen TV, Nespresso machine, Bose speaker and a Dyson hairdryer.
There is an option of a ceiling fan if the air con is too much, which is not only sustainable but smart. I do not liek sleeping with the air conditioner on, and it seems I am not the only one.
The luxurious, spacious bathroom, with eco-friendly vanity packages and bespoke Heeley Paris shower essentials, adds to the opulence.
The attention to detail in design and the array of amenities make the room a perfect blend of luxury and functionality.

Artyzen Singapore is a masterpiece of colour, texture and design, inspired by Singapore’s rich culture and vibrant heritage.
The property, designed by ONG&ONG, features elements that pay homage to local history, such as Peranakan tiling and wallpaper used on half walls, as well as modern art pieces.
The East meets West aesthetic is both sophisticated and inviting, creating an ambiance that appeals to luxury travellers.
The hotel’s architecture and interior design are a testament to thoughtful, culturally immersive luxury and offer an array of instagram opportunities.

Its prime location offers easy access to public transport and complimentary one way chauffeur services in a sparkling Mercedes Benz for exploring the city.
Despite its central location, Artyzen Singapore provides a quiet, tranquil oasis away from the city’s hustle and bustle.

Service at Artyzen Singapore is good. From the moment you arrive, the staff are attentive and dedicated to ensuring a memorable stay.
The complimentary chauffeur service, 24/7 fitness center access, and bespoke spa treatments are just a few examples of the exceptional service provided.

The Wellness & Workout Floor on Level 5 is a retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation.
The 24/7 gym, equipped with the latest Technogym equipment, is great to maintain fitness while enjoying leafy, green framed panoramic views of Cuscaden Street. Water is provided and it has all the basics for a solid cardio or weights workout.
The yoga pavilions and regular wellness classes further enhance the holistic wellness experience if that’s what you’re up for.
The spa, offering treatments tailored with THÉMAÉ Paris products, and a host of tranquil treatments.
The 24/7 gym, equipped with the latest Technogym equipment, allows guests to maintain their fitness routine while enjoying panoramic views of Cuscaden Street.
Sustainability: 9/10
Artyzen Singapore is committed to sustainability, incorporating green practices throughout the property.
Features include refillable glass bottles, rainwater harvesting, solar-powered LED lamps, and a passive cooling design. There are abundant plants on many levels.

Dining at Artyzen Singapore is a culinary delight and signature restaurant, Quenino by Victor Liong is extraordinary. I enjoyed a flawless degustation there, with quality, innovative food and wine.
The signature restaurant Quenino by Victor Liong provides a fine dining experience with a degustation-only menu that pays tribute to regional heritage dishes, and a range of global matching wines are available.
The all-day dining restaurant, Café Quenino, offers a range of delicious, authentic Asian fusion cuisine with a modern twist.
Breakfast features hearty options including eggs with the trimmings, pastries by Le Matin, while lunch includes locally-inspired dishes such as Chinese style pork belly, perfectly cooked steak and green vegetables. There are vegetarian options and plenty of keto choices too.

The Highlight: Degustation dinner at Quenino by Victor Liong ( yes it is here twice for a reason) A wow on every level – from presentation, to taste to wine pairings and service. I LOVE the chandelier there too.
The lowlight: Coffees cost a jaw dropping $12 each but guests do have coffee included with breakfast
Insider Secret: The light in all of the rooms is very flattering on the skin for instagram photos – and the rooftop pool with clear glass floor to see to the ground below is amazing and has to be seen to be believed.
