A hotel review of the prestigious Raffles Hotel Singapore, one of Asia’s best.
Fresh from a massive renovation, Raffles Singapore is one of South East Asia’s Best Five Star Luxury Hotels.
Here Renae goes inside the hotel to review every aspect during a week long stay she spent at the luxury hotel in Singapore.
Raffles Hotel Singapore is a National Monument for Singapore, having first opened in 1887, and named after Sir Stamford Raffles, founder of Singapore.
Fresh from a two year facelift, the Raffles hotel is currently one of the greatest places in Singapore to stay – as well as to dine.
The extensive two year renovation took every aspect of this extraordinary hotel to a whole new level.
From the well dressed (and famous) doorman to the exceptional and sophisticated 10 new restaurants and bars, 115 newly refurbished and refined rooms and suites, and the breathtaking bohemian chandelier, that glistens with 8,214 pieces of crystals, this is certainly glamour and a touch of elegantly refined glitz every step of the way.
All suites come with their own Nespresso coffee machine, complimentary non-alcoholic mini bar (hidden in a strikingly creative and elegant luggage-like table) and each room is filled with exclusive decadent bath amenities by Ormonde Jayne.
“Raffles Hotel stands for all the fables of the exotic East”, said playwright, Somerset Maugham. This is a hotel not to miss for any luxury hotel fans.
