Even its location is somewhat of an insider’s secret. Petitenget may not be as instantly recognisable as Ubud or Canggu, but travellers familiar with Bali’s high-end dining and shopping scene know that this tiny pocket of Seminyak is home to some of the island’s finest restaurants, chicest cafés, and most exclusive boutiques.

Lined with tropical greenery and flanked by buildings on either side, the pool area is an oasis of calm—ideal for a leisurely morning dip, an afternoon of sun-soaked relaxation, or a quiet evening under the stars. It is also amazing for instagram.
Ground-floor rooms open directly onto this inviting pool, a feature that makes them highly sought after by returning guests. There’s something effortlessly indulgent about stepping out of your room and straight into the water, making these accommodations a personal favourite.

Overlooking the pool, it offers a refined but welcoming dining experience, with a menu that celebrates both international flavours and the vibrant local cuisine of Bali.
Every dish is thoughtfully prepared using the freshest ingredients, with a focus on seasonal produce and artful presentation. Whether you’re enjoying a leisurely breakfast, a casual lunch, or a candlelit dinner, the culinary experience here is excellent.
The Tea Room Restaurant, beneath its distinctive bluish/green glass roof, transitions throughout the day, presenting a vibrant menu curated by Chef Vincent Nigita.
His creations, especially the ‘haute-couture’ sweets at Kanvaz Patisserie, have become a must-try on the island.
Additionally, the Sky Reflection Rooftop offers a serene setting for relaxation, with panoramic views of Seminyak, making it an ideal spot for evening cocktails.
Wellness: 7.5/10
Perched atop the resort, the wellness club is a simple sanctuary of tranquility. I had a massage and loved it and used the gym each day I was there.
Guests can meander along bougainvillea-lined paths leading to the spa and beauty institute, where expert therapists offer tailored treatments. I had a welcoming ginger tea to begin and an outstanding massage – next time I will also try the hairdressing services which can be booked in advance.
Kanvaz Resort also provides yoga classes, an personal training classes catering to guests seeking physical rejuvenation and mental clarity.
For cultural immersion, workshops on traditional Balinese offerings and Jamu (Indonesian herbal medicine) are available. While the wellness offerings are commendable, I would love to see more gym equipment, and an even more specialised treatments or wellness programs to enhance the experience further.

Fluent in English and trained to anticipate every need, they go above and beyond to ensure a seamless stay.
From personalised check-ins with complimentary macaroons for guests, to thoughtful recommendations for exploring the best of Seminyak, the team at Kanvaz is always ready to assist. I personally saw them go out of their way for me multiple times.
Whether arranging private yoga sessions, securing reservations at Bali’s most sought-after restaurants, or organising bespoke experiences like guided cultural tours, their dedication to hospitality is evident in every interaction.

The colour palette is kept muted and refined—soft greys, warm neutrals, and deep charcoal tones complement the natural textures of the furnishings. Bathrooms are spacious in their design, featuring spacious rain showers, elegant fixtures, and amenities that enhance the overall experience.
This level of care extends housekeeping , ensuring that each room remains a serene and inviting retreat throughout a stay.
