From Waldorf Astoria to Curio Collection, Hilton accelerates its global expansion with weekly luxury hotel openings, bold new partnerships, and exclusive brand debuts in top travel destinations.
Hilton has officially marked a major milestone in global hospitality, surpassing 1,000 luxury and lifestyle hotels across its portfolio. This achievement comes amid record-breaking growth and global expansion, positioning Hilton as a frontrunner in the high-end travel sector. With nearly 500 more luxury and lifestyle properties currently in development, the hotel giant shows no signs of slowing down.
In 2025 alone, Hilton expects to open more than 150 luxury and lifestyle hotels worldwide—an ambitious plan that translates to roughly three new openings per week. Among the most anticipated are Waldorf Astoria New York, Waldorf Astoria Rabat Salé, Conrad Athens The Ilisian, Conrad Hamburg, and the debut of the first LXR Hotels & Resorts in India. Thailand is also set to welcome its first Curio Collection by Hilton, pushing the brand toward its 200th property milestone later this year.

Recent high-profile openings further cement Hilton’s reputation for delivering unforgettable stays in extraordinary locations. Highlights include Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique, Waldorf Astoria Osaka, Sax Paris (LXR Hotels & Resorts), Signia by Hilton Amman, Canopy by Hilton Cape Town Longkloof, Tempo by Hilton Raleigh, and The Radical Asheville (Tapestry Collection by Hilton).
Beyond new builds, Hilton is expanding through bold partnerships and strategic acquisitions. The recent announcement of NoMad Detroit, in collaboration with Ford Motor Company, underscores Hilton’s innovative approach to revitalising iconic spaces. The hotel will open within the historic Michigan Central Station, a once-abandoned railway terminal undergoing transformation into a tech and cultural hub. This project is just one of more than 15 NoMad developments currently underway across the globe, with others planned in Singapore and beyond.
Another significant move includes Hilton’s acquisition of Graduate Hotels, a collection of boutique properties located in university towns. New additions are coming to Boulder, Colorado, and Syracuse, New York, with over 50 more in the pipeline and plans to expand internationally.

Hilton has also strengthened its partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), adding approximately 50 new properties this year alone. This brings the number of unique SLH stays available to Hilton guests to around 450. Recent additions include Nobu Hotel Warsaw, Dylan Hotel in Dublin, VISTA Lago di Como, and Namia River Retreat in Vietnam, offering travellers curated experiences in some of the world’s most distinctive destinations.

As Hilton continues to evolve its luxury and lifestyle strategy, new signings span every corner of the globe. These include:
- Waldorf Astoria properties in Turks and Caicos and Texas Hill Country
- An LXR Hotels & Resorts hotel in Hiroshima, Japan
- The first Signia by Hilton properties in Asia and Africa
- The international launch of Tempo by Hilton, with openings planned across Canada and the EMEA region
- New Canopy by Hilton properties in Tokyo and Italy

This global expansion aligns with growing demand from modern travellers seeking high-touch hospitality, immersive local experiences, and seamless digital integration. By aggressively growing its portfolio of premium brands—including Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, LXR, Signia, Curio Collection, Canopy, Tempo, and Tapestry—Hilton is strategically positioning itself to meet the expectations of luxury and lifestyle travellers around the world.
With hundreds of new properties in the works, Hilton’s commitment to luxury and lifestyle hospitality is clear: to offer a sophisticated, tailored stay for every kind of traveller, in every corner of the world.
