Pinterest LinkedIn

Oman Air is now part of one world which is great news for qantas frequently flyers.

Oman Air is now the 15th member of the oneworld alliance, delivering an exciting boost for Qantas Frequent Flyers and the broader oneworld community.

This partnership heightens alliance connectivity across the Middle East, giving frequent flyers enhanced access to Oman Air’s expanding international network from its Muscat hub—including new routes to sought-after destinations like Amsterdam—while unlocking all core alliance benefits.

For Qantas Frequent Flyers, this means Oman Air flights can now be booked and credited for Qantas Points and Status Credits.

Members will enjoy reciprocal privileges, including priority check-in, priority boarding, additional baggage allowance, and seamless mileage earning and redemption across the oneworld network. Access to nearly 700 premium airport lounges is now available to eligible customers, with Oman Air’s award-winning Business Class Lounge in Muscat adding to the top-tier experience.

One World Alliance

Oman Air’s product stands out for its celebrated Business Studios, renowned for privacy and comfort on long-haul flights. The airline’s modern Boeing 737s and 787 Dreamliners offer refined interiors and exceptional service, recently recognised by the APEX Five-Star Major Airline Award for 2024 and Skytrax’s “Best Airline Staff in the Middle East” accolade. As a result, frequent flyers can expect a high standard, both in the air and on the ground.

With Oman Air’s addition, oneworld strengthens its presence between Europe, Asia, and Africa, making travel to and through the Middle East smoother for Qantas and oneworld members. The alliance now connects travellers to 42 Oman Air destinations across 22 countries, backed by award-winning service and the promise of Omani hospitality.

Oman Air’s top-tier Sindbad Gold (oneworld Sapphire) and Silver (oneworld Ruby) members enjoy full reciprocal benefits, and the airline plans to introduce a new Platinum tier—matching oneworld Emerald—soon. This deepens the perks for the alliance’s most loyal flyers, especially those seeking new Middle Eastern stopovers or onward journeys.

For Qantas Frequent Flyers, this expanded network means more ways to earn and use points, greater choice of premium lounges (including the new oneworld lounges at Amsterdam Schiphol and Seoul Incheon), and a seamless, recognised experience across all journeys. The inclusion of Oman Air represents oneworld’s ongoing commitment to delivering a truly premium and interconnected global travel experience—all with the comfort, service, and discovery that frequent flyers expect.
