It has a huge ground floor pool, rooftop pool, rooftop bar, amazing spa treatments, excellent food and gorgeous rooms.

This is a fantastic time to be here, as the rain has largely eased, there are very few people around and the island has a sense of peace.

The two secrets to having a great stay in Bali are; ✈️coming at the right time both for you and your family and for the weather.

✈️And staying in the right location and not moving around too much.

Better to spend a 10 night stay in 3 locations rather than staying in one and hoping to do day trips. It is just too hard. ✈️

I am here in Jakarta but car free days are growing in popularity globally as a way to get the community together and into the streets to share some fitness.

I am often asked about running in Bali-and it came be tricky due to the design of the roads.

(Although Bali does have some great gyms and even better personal trainers.)

Jakarta is a great side trip and the CFD every Sunday is something fabulous to enjoy.

This SOFITEL hotel is simply extraordinary and Vietnam’s best city Hotel.

A favourite amongst dignitaries and celebrities, everyone from Charlie Chaplin to Putin, Trump and Angelina Jolie have stayed here.

My family and I were fortunate enough to spend Christmas here and it was magical.

My son falling ill with bad gastro was the catalyst to revealing just how incredible and kind the staff are and how much they supported us to ensure we were as comfortable as possible under difficult circumstances -and all at Christmas.

The restaurants are absolutely exceptional, as are the cocktails and even the gym.

Note the plate in slide 4 in the cabinet (top) matches the embroidery on the robe I am wearing in slide 5. 🩷

We cannot wait to go back. 🇨🇳❤️

My review is on on this incredible historical, luxury hotel where I spent Christmas with my family.

Highlights were us were;
*newly refurnished heritage wing
*Indulgent Diltyque products in the bathrooms
*Beautiful luxe bath oils
*Bottomless champagne@with high tea
*champagne on arrival
*Breakfast in the stunning conservatory style restaurant
*The bamboo bar
*The hotel’s heritage tour
*Indulgent hot chocolates
*Amazing fitness centre
*Incredible service
*The cigar dressers (box seen here on fire) at Angelina.

There is no end of excitement at this wonderful hotel in Hanoi.
